Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, the former chairman of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, has successfully secured the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship ticket of the State.
KanyiDaily gathered that Caleb Mutfwang garnered 252 votes to defeat 13 other aspirants.
The result was announced after hours of vote casting and counting by the chairman of the panel, Bode Ogunmola.
Meanwhile, Dr Timothy Golu, Chief Latep Dabang, Pastor Vincent Nanle and Mr Jack Yakubu Pam withdrew from the contest out of the 18 aspirants.
In related news, the Chairman/C.E.O Pinnacle Oil & Gas, Peter Mbah also won the PDP gubernatorial ticket in Enugu State and will contest with candidates from other parties in the 2023 general elections.
