Popular skit maker cum activist, Debo Adedayo alias Mr Macaroni has blasted the former vice president and presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar for deleting the posts he made on his Facebook and Twitter accounts condemning the death of Deborah Samuel who was killed over alleged blasphemy in Sokoto.
Kanyi Daily recalls that Atiku took down the posts after some Northerners threatened not to vote for him in the coming election.
Expressing displeasure, Mr Macaroni asserted that the move made by Atiku proves that politicians don’t care for the people and only play along when seeking votes.
He wrote:
“Atiku deleting the tweet condemning the gruesome murder of Deborah shows what we have been preaching this whole election season. Politicians don’t care for the people. They only play to the gallery when seeking for our votes. The people must see beyond these gimmicks…”
