Nigerian Comedienne, Helen Paul Appointed As Professor At US University

Nigerian comedienne, Helen Paul has announced that she has been as a professor at the Heart International University in the United State of America.

The stand-up comedienne, who had previously bagged a Ph.D. in Theatre Arts from the University of Lagos, made the announcement via her social media handles on Monday.

Sharing photos and videos from her induction in the United States, Helen announced that she has been appointed as the Head of the Department of the Arts, Music and Entertainment at the Heart University.

She wrote: “Congratulations to all of us at Heart University. I am now officially Professor Paul Helen. The ceremony was a beautiful one indeed. My sincere gratitude to my Boss and the University Chancellor. Dornett Mcintosh PhD.

“Thank you my senior Professor Cox our faculty head and all HBIU staff in general. Will never forget to say a big thank you to my Atlanta Dean of programming. Yemisi Dunmoye Ph.D @yemidun #honor #grace #new #space #achievement.”

The comedienne went to congratulated her husband, Femi Bamisile, who also graduated as a Doctor of Law from the same institution. She thanked him for his support throughout her studies.

Helen wrote, “Special thanks to you Dr Femi Bamisile my Husband. Thanks so much for your selfless commitment to my academic growth. Thank you so much for all the sacrifices, all the time you take to read and rewrite, edit and teach me like your sweet baby that I am,” she added.

“Thank you for everything darling. I can never forget your main teachings. “Helen, let your secrets remain secret. Never be carried away by sentiments. Every relationship has got a time frame. Be wise and move on as quickly as possible without anything holding you back”

“Congratulations to us my love. Such a great honor for both of us. You graduated as a Doctor of law and I was promoted too. Professor Helen Paul, now the new H.O.D Department of Arts, Music and Entertainment. Heart International University USA. Thank you for all the sleepless nights. Thank you for sacrificing for us.”

KanyiDaily recalls that in 2019, Helen Paul bagged her Ph.D. from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), making her the first stand-up comedian to have a Ph.D.
