US-based Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi, has taken to social media to reflect on her life, revealing that she has undergone some of the most traumatic times in the past few months.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the dancer revealed that giving birth in her bedroom, losing a handful of friends and going through a divorce are some of the most traumatic experiences she has faced.

Obidi further motivated herself ahead of her 28th birthday, saying she is way stronger than they give her credit for adding that it is always the darkest before the dawn.

She wrote: “In the past months, I have undergone some of the most traumatic times of my life. Gave birth in my bedroom (which I adored), Lost a handful of friends, went through a divorce.”

“My birthday in 18 days and I just want to drop that you are way stronger than you give yourself credit for. It’s always darkest before the dawn.”
