Former United States President, Barack Obama has named four Nigerian artists, Burna Boy, Tems, Pheelz, and BNXN, on his yearly summer playlist.
The ex-president, who annually releases a list of his favourite songs from across the world, shared his 2022 summer playlist in a Twitter post on Tuesday.
Among the foremost on this playlist is ‘Vibe Out’ by Tems, and Burna Boy’s viral hit song ‘Last Last’.
‘Finesse’ by Pheelz and BNXN made the global hit songs that cracked into the playlist.
“Every year, I get excited to share my summer playlist because I learn about so many new artists from your replies – it’s an example of how music really can bring us all together.
“Here’s what I’ve been listening to this summer. What songs would you add?” Obama wrote.
