Fast-Rising Dancer, Solo Jackson Shot Dead By Suspected Herdsmen In Imo [Photos]

A fast-rising dancer, Solomon Chukwudi, better known as Solo Jackson has been shot dead by suspected herdsmen along Okigwe road in Imo State.

It was gathered that the dancer was travelling from Abuja to Aba on Wednesday when the vehicle he was in was attacked by gunmen around Okwelle town in Imo.

A source disclosed that the incident happened on the evening of Wednesday, June 29 but the deceased died on Thursday, June 29 at the hospital where he was rushed to.

According to Igbo Unite TV, three others were also shot in the vehicle.

“Lost a friend and brother just now… Shot in the head on his way back to Aba from Abuja. The incident happened between Okwelle axis. Three people were shot in the vehicle.

This man is one of the best entertainers in the southeast. Killers are suspected herdsmen. RIP Solo Jackson. What a life,” Igbo Unite TV wrote on Facebook.

Friends and colleagues of the deceased also took to Facebook to mourn him.

KanyiDaily had also published a video showing the moment some gunmen dragged a man out of his car and shot him dead in Anambra State.
