“I’m So Happy To See Him Succeed” – Shatta Wale Hails Burna Boy Despite Their Feud

Ghanaian dancehall star, Shatta Wale has taken to social media to celebrate Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Burna Boy, despite their feud a few months ago.

Shatta Wale Hails Burna Boy

KanyiDaily recalls that the fight between the two musicians began when Shatta Wale insulted Nigerian artistes for failing to reciprocate the love and support they receive from Ghana.

Reacting to the comment, Burna said that he is open to a one-on-one fight with Shatta Wale if he has a problem with him instead of fueling an agenda of separation between Nigeria and Ghana.

After several months of the cold war over superiority, Shatta Wale seems to have moved as he took to his Snapchat page to hail Burna Boy, saying he is really happy about his successes even though they don’t talk.

Wale wrote: “Laad Gad my friend who was to be and no more my friend is killing the world – Even tho we don’t talk, am so happy to see him succeed!!? Shouts to Burna you burning it…. Love”.

KanyiDaily recalls that Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo had addressed the dispute between Burna Boy and Shatta Wale, saying their brawl could have resulted in a “diplomatic incident”.
