Nigerian political activitist cum Head Of Mission (NIG) Leadership and accountability initiative, Henry Shield has said the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has destroyed many marriages.
He made the assertion on his official twitter handle on Friday, September 9.
He wrote, “Buhari’s govt has strained and destroyed many marriages. This is a fact!”
Shield is strong critic of Buhari and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu as well as their party.
The political activist did not disclose how the Buhari’s administration is making marriages to crash, it may not be unconnected to financial difficulty many couples may be facing.
Though, he did not also back his assertion with any statistics or documents, a twitter user by name, Mc Kunle took to the comment section of the post to support him.
Mc Kunle said he knows a church member of his whose marriage collapsed some months after the couples lost their jobs.
He wrote, “I know of a close church member whose marriage has collapsed, the husband lost his job last year, wife was supporting the family until she too lost her job this year, she has moved out of the house with the kids because she said she can’t keep suffering with the kids.”
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily had reported that Shield had hurled curses on those planning to support Tinubu for the 2023 presidential election.
He said may the lives of those that will be paid to market the APC candidate for president be “horrible, terrible and lonely.”
