The marriage of Yoruba actor, Kunle Afod and his wife, Desola has crashed.
Desola announced she has left Kunle in a short message on her official handle on Tuesday.
“The good news you wanna hear. I left Kunle Afod.,” she wrote.
This comes just a few days after she celebrated Kunle on his birthday on Monday when she prayed for him.
Desola had referred to him as the father of their four children.
“Happy Birthday Daddy Omiayo, Desire, Imodola, Yiyenitemi. May God bless you on your birthday and always,” she wrote celebrating the actor.
She has also reportedly unfollowed her husband on the social media platform, with the actor reciprocating.
It is not clear what was the cause of the separation as no information on that had been established by none of the parties at the time of filing this report.
Kanyi Daily recalls that the couple’s marriage is, however, not new to controversy. Desola raised eyebrows in 2018 when she posted on social media that actresses were preventing her and her children from enjoying her husband.
“For all the actresses and upcoming actresses that have f**ked with Baba Omiayo, I dare you all to be in the same location with him. Then you will see the relaxed Desola. Just because I have been quiet,” Desola claimed at that time.
Kunle, however, ignored her wife’s allegations then and did not comment on the claims.
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress cum politician, Funke Akindele’s husband, JJC Skillz had also announced the end of their 6-year-old marriage.
