Gunmen Kill Popular Content Creator Eboh George, Abduct Many Others In Enugu

A travel content creator, Eboh George, popularly known as Eboh Gee, has been shot dead by gunmen who attacked him and other travelers in Enugu State.

Eboh Gee, an Asaba-based vlogger known for making documentaries that showcase the lifestyle in several parts of Nigeria, was reportedly killed on Tuesday, October 11.

According to reports, the vlogger had traveled to film in Benue and Enugu, and was returning back to Asaba, Delta State, when he and other travelers were ambushed at four corners junction, along Enugu-Umuahia Expressway.

A source said the 30-year-old father-of-one was shot dead on the spot along with another traveler were, while the others were kidnapped.

It was gathered that Eboh left his wife and son abroad and returned to Nigeria with the aim of showcasing the beauty of the country to the world through his videos.

he Tsource said, “He was returning to Asaba after filming content in Benue and Enugu States. He was in his car with his friend when they were ambushed.

“The gunmen took his friend and several other travelers but as they were about to drive off, they turned and shot him. He died on the spot.

“They also killed another person who was also in company of a friend, the friend was equally abducted.

“Eboh left his wife and son abroad and moved to Nigeria because he wanted to showcase the beauty of the country to the world through his videos. He will be laid to rest on November 9th.”

KanyiDaily had also reported how gunmen suspected to be robbers killed Pastor Busari Shuaib Peter during an attack at his business premises in Ibadan, Oyo State.
