Nigerian rapper, Blaqbonez has advised his colleague, Rema to get back to school after the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) called off its eight-months-old strike.
In a post shared on his Twitter page, the rapper urged the singer, who is currently on a tour of Europe, to return to school because education is the key and no knowledge is lost.
Blaqbonez wrote: “Hey @heisrema, love your tour energy and things, but education is key as no knowledge is lost. It’s time to get Back In Uni.”
‘Back In Uni‘ is the title of Blaqbonez’s latest single, where he recalled his escapades while he was still in the university.
KanyiDaily recalls that in January, Rema announced that he had been given admission to study Creative Arts at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
However, the singer was unable to resume school due to the eight-month nationwide strike embarked on by the ASUU on February 14.
The ASUU finally ended the strike on October 14 after several meetings to press home their demands from the federal government.
