Daily Nigerian Publisher, Jaafar Jaafar Believes Atiku Won 2019 Presidential Election

The publisher of an online newspaper, Daily Nigerian, Jaafar Jaafar says he believes Atiku Abubakar defeated President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 general election.

Jaafar Jaafar Reflects On 2019 Presidential Election

Buhari was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) while Atiku was of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Buhari won his re-election bid as he polled 15,191,847 votes to defeat Atiku in the presidential poll conducted on February 23, 2019.

Atiku polled 11,262,978 to lose the election with a margin of 3,928,869 votes, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Taking to his official Twitter handle on Saturday, Jaafar said he is one of the few people who believed Atiku defeated Buhari in 2019.

He accused INEC officials and APC governors, the Nigeria police, and the State Security Service (SSS) of increasing Buhari’s votes in key northern states and reducing that of Atiku.

He said, “In 2019, Atiku lost his best chance to massive rigging. I’m one of the few people who believed Atiku defeated Buhari in 2019. In key Northern states, Buhari’s votes were increased and Atiku’s votes reduced by corrupt INEC officials in concert with APC govs, police & SSS.”

According to him, “In Kano, Buhari’s actual votes were about 1.1 million but increased to nearly 1.5m.

“In Katsina, his actual votes were around 800k but 400k votes were criminally added. Similar electoral heists occurred in Borno, Yobe, Kaduna, etc.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State had failed to show up before the Kano Assembly Committee Iver ‘Bribery’ Videos.
