Peter Obi Speaks To Nigerians On Campaign Funding

Obi appealed in a tweet on his handle on Thursday evening.

He, however, thanked every member of the “OBIdient” family and every supporter for their immeasurable support in “our” march to a new Nigeria.

According to him, “We would not have gotten this far without your support.”

The LP presidential candidate expressed optimism about having a new Nigeria.

Obi wrote, “My Fellow Nigerians, I thank every member of the OBIdient Family and every supporter for their immeasurable support in our march to a new Nigeria. We would not have gotten this far without your support.

“We call on you once again to donate to our campaign fundraising accounts attached, to help make the new Nigeria of our dreams a reality.

“Together we can do it.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that a Human rights lawyer, Monday Ubani on Thursday, reacted to the reported arrest of a student of the Federal University Dutse in Jigawa State, Aminu Adamu Mohammed by the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari over an alleged derogatory post he made on social media.

Ubani, who criticised Aisha Buhari over the action, said many Nigerians flayed Mrs. Patience Jonathan during her husband’s tenure as Nigeria’s President from 2010 to 2015 but she didn’t arrest any of her detractors.
