Nollywood actress, Chita Agwu has taken to social media to defend the recent engagement between Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Cuppy and British boxer, Ryan Taylor.
KanyiDaily recalls that yesterday, Cuppy officially confirmed that she is engaged to Taylor, revealing that they met 25 days ago at Gumball 3000 driving rally in Dubai.
Cuppy’s revelation sparked mixed reactions on social media with some users expressing shock at her decision to agree to marry someone she barely knows, while some accused her of faking a true love story.
Reacting on her Twitter page, Chita Agwu backed Cuppy, saying that it is possible for one to meet someone within such a short time and get engaged.
The actress used her own marriage as a reference point as she revealed that she and her husband got engaged four days after they met.
”Is possible shaaa cos I met my husband in 4days and we got engaged”, she wrote
This is coming amid reports that Ryan Taylor was in a romantic relationship with UK influencer, Fiona Michelle shortly before he proposed to DJ Cuppy.
