The Delta State Police Command says it has killed two of the most dreaded armed robbers in the state.
The spokesman of the command, Bright Edafe disclosed this in a tweet on his official handle on Wednesday.
Edafe said, “The command has successfully neutralized two of the most dreaded armed robbers in the State, Gift famous A.K.A “BOBONE” aged 29yrs who has been terrorizing Warri, Ekpan, and other areas in d State.
“He was neutralized during a gun duel with a policeman of Ovwian Aladja police station on 2/12/2022 in Opete community in Udu.
“The duo was allegedly responsible for the murder of one Douglas Abugu on 18/8/2022 and the murder of one “small doctor”real name unknown on 22/8/2022, and most of the robbery operations around Ekpan and Warri axis.”
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the Ogun State Police Command has arrested three members of a robbery syndicate, who specialised in snatching motorcycles from their owners using powered pepper.
