Ghanaian dancehall star, Shatta Wale has taken to social media to lambast his country’s music industry while seeking the help of Nigerians in his career.
In a post shared on his Twitter page, the controversial musician described Ghana’s music as a “disgrace”, urging his colleagues in the industry to stop arguing with Nigerians but instead seek assistance from them.
In another tweet, Shatta Wale announced that he is in need of a record label, stressing that he won’t let his ego stop him from requesting help this year.
He wrote, “It’s better we stop arguing with Nigerian fans, promoters,etc and ask for help. Ghana music is a disgrace, mek nobody lie you. Shouts to Naija, Ghana ppl too deh like talk with no action. Yes I have said it.”
“This year 2023 hard truth nkwaaaa🤣 you need help, I need help. Stop that ego life enogo help you and me,” the singer added.
KanyiDaily recalls that Shatta Wale said that “lazy” Ghanaians should stop engaging in comparison with Nigerians who have been dominating streaming platforms because they understand what talent means.
