Nigerian music legend, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2baba has remembered his bossom friend and colleague, Lanre Fasasi, better known as Sound Sultan two years after the latter died.
Recall that Sound Sultan died on July 11, 2021, at age 44 after a battle with cancer of the throat.
Before his death, the late singer underwent chemotherapy in a hospital in the United States of America.
But almost two years after Sultan’s demise, 2baba appears not to have gotten over the pain of losing a loved one.
Taking to his official Instagram handle on Friday evening, 2baba admitted missing the late singer.
The “African Queen” crooner also assured Sound Sultan that he will continue to celebrate him till he joins him.
“Miss u madly A Guy. Celebrate u till I join u, bro”.
This is not the first time 2baba will be mourning Sound Sultan.
Recall that 2baba last year bore the late singer in his mind and admitted how badly he misses him.
2baba wrote, “#GRATEFUL #Warrior. A GUY was light years ahead.
Miss u till I join u”.
2baba and Sound Sultan had collaborated on several songs.
Such songs are Ole, Enter the place, One, Siren, Naija Hood Rep, Prayer, Human Being, Sodi e, and Glasses Up, amongst others.
