#NigeriaDecides2023: Chioma Akpotha Attacked By Armed Thugs At Polling Unit In Lagos [Video]

Nollywood actress, Chioma Akpotha has reportedly been attacked by armed thugs at a polling unit in Lagos State.

In a live video on her Instagram page, the actress revealed that she couldn’t even bring out her phone to update fans when she got to her polling unit because some thugs attacked her with knives and bottles.

Chioma revealed that a man in a white shirt brandishing a knife tried to stab her, but she escaped the scene unharmed even though her side mirror was damaged by the thugs.

The actress, who recorded the video her car as she was driven to safety, explained that she had just finished making a call informing someone that she was in the polling unit when the thugs approached her.

KanyiDaily recalls that some thugs were seen roaming the streets of Lagos threatening residents to stay indoors if they won’t vote for candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
