Nigerians on Twitter have rejected president-elect, Bola Tinubu as their president after he was declared winner of the February 25th presidential election which was held across the country.
“That Tinubu Bola Ahmed of the APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law, is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected,” Professor Yakubu declared in an announcement watched by an eager nation and many across the world.
Tinubu contested the poll against Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) amongst others.
Taking to their various Twitter handles, Nigerians declared that the former Lagos state governor is not their president.
The majority of Nigerians, mostly youths who trooped out in their millions were said to have voted for Obi believing that he is the only one who can turn the fortunes of the country around.
But, INEC declared INEC Tinubu as the winner of the polls which appears not to sit well with the majority of Nigerians.
There have been allegations and reports of widespread rigging of the election by INEC to ensure that the former Lagos governor wins the polls.
Below are some of the reactions by Nigerians.

Prepare yourself.”
“That man is not my President, and I will never acknowledge him as my President. I need opposition parties to fight every single step of the way. I have no faith in the justice system, but let them not say we didn’t try. Such a disgrace.”
