The result of the February 25th presidential election has pitted INEC against those who have been praising its name for the deployment of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) and its result viewing portal.
Despite modern technology being used for the process, INEC has been facing criticism over delays in the deployment of election materials and discrepancies in the results of the polls, including allegations of manipulation and fraud.
Taking to her Twitter page on Friday night, Kate Henshaw called on the INEC to ensure they come with all the equipment that would be used for the governorship elections today, March 18.
The actress urged the electoral body to improve in order to prevent history from being repeated.
She tweeted: “Calling on @ineclagos @inecnigeria staff. Please pack your equipment well this night o. Bring our complete BVAS plus ink pad, cellotape, pens & enough ballot papers to avoid stories that touch. We don’t want a repeat of what happened last time. Come on time too. Tanx.”
