You’re Already A Dictator – Imam Of Peace Tells Tinubu

A Muslim influencer and reformist Imam, Mohammad Tawhidi, popularly known as Imam of Peace, has tackled Nigeria’s president-elect, Bola Tinubu.

Imam of Peace in a short tweet on his official handle congratulated Tinubu on winning the presidential poll on February 25th but told the former Lagos governor that he is already a dictator.

Imam of Peace wrote, “Congratulations Bola Tinubu, you’re already a dictator.”

It is not clear what informed the reformist Imam’s argument.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the keenly contested election amid widespread reports of rigging and all sorts of electoral malpractices.

Major opposition candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) respectively have since rejected the outcome of the election. Videos and pictures from all sorts of electoral malpractice supposedly from the poll flooded social media.

Both Atiku and Obi have also since commenced legal redress of the poll.

Also, the majority of Nigerians have since rejected Tinubu as the president-elect, saying he was not the candidate they voted for.

There were allegations and reports of widespread rigging of the election by INEC to ensure that the former Lagos governor wins the polls.

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that the Imam of Peace has also asked Nigerians to demand re-election of the February 25th presidential election.
