Yul Edochie made the call in a tweet on his official Twitter handle.
The actor claimed that many fake news are flying around.
According to Yul Edochie, some people sit in their homes, create stuff, and post it as news, lamenting that information could set the country ablaze.
He thereby pleaded with Nigerians to verify before posting or reposting.
He tweeted, “Any information you see about the election, pls confirm the authenticity before you post or repost. So much fake news flying around.
