Funny Comments Greet Fashola’s Revelation That Tinubu Works At Nights

Some funny reactions have greeted the revelation made by the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, about the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT).

Fashola on Sunday night, described the schedule of the Tinubu, as a very tight one, adding that the former Lagos governor stays awake at night to do his best work.

The works and housing minister, who is also a former governor of Lagos State, disclosed this while speaking on Channels TV.

The current two-term governor and minister worked under Tinubu as the chief of staff in the state.

He urged those planning to work with Tinubu to be prepared, adding that Tinubu is “very nocturnal”.

“I was his chief of staff for four and a half years. I took over from Lai Mohammed.

“In terms of controlling Asiwaju’s schedule, that was a tough task because he has day and night schedules.

“For those who are going to work with him, he is very nocturnal. I hope he changes. He will wake you up at night. He does his best work in the dead of the night. Unless you push back and claim your space at night, he will encroach it,” Fashola said.

Reacting to Fashola’s revelation, some Nigerians took to their Twitter handles to describe Tinubu with negative but funny names.

Below are some of their reactions:

“Because that’s how thieves operate.. they work in the night.”

It’s their functioning hours naw that’s why he was announced in the night when witches and wizards are closing from their meetings.”

Normally BAT works only during the night.”

Ghen Ghen🤓🤓 No wonder he was announced winner at night☹️☹️”

Is he going to lead Nigerians at night?”

Bad things happen mostly at night.  When You have no or minimal monitoring.”

If I may ask what is his best work at night.”

Bat does not work during the day but rather at night.”

That’s natural for Bats. We know.”

“who works in the night?…….thieves”

And smoke throughout the day?”

“Abih when bat 🦇 dey waka 🤠🤠”

That’s how Pablo does too.”

Obviously. It’s the same for every other BAT.”

As a BAT during the night and a Guinea fowl during the day.”

Only BAT is awake at night. That’s the effect of heroine. Time Square NYC is a case study for Victims of heroine.”

Everything on the contrary is done at night, including announcing illegal election results.”

We know, bats and evil spirits are seemingly more active in the night hours. Hence the inglorious result that made him the president- select was announced when the world was asleep. It’s time to switch on the light, we are tired of darkness.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that families and next of kin of deceased police officers, who died while in active service were on Monday, presented with cheques worth N18.5m by the Gombe State Police Command.
