Orji Kalu Holds Open Casket Viewing For Late Wife, Ifeoma In US

Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu on Wednesday, held an open casket viewing for his late first wife, Ifeoma Kalu at McEwen Funeral Service-Pinaville Chapel, North Carolina, in the United States.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Kalu shared photos from the open casket viewing.

Orji Kalu wrote, “Ahead of tomorrow’s service of songs for my late ex-wife Mrs. Ifeoma Ada Kalu, we had an open casket viewing at McEwen Funeral  Service-Pineville Chapel, North Carolina, USA.

“We will miss our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, Sister, and Aunt. She will be sorely missed by all.”

Recall that Kanyi Daily reported that Kalu had on April 3rd, announced the death of his Ifeoma at the age of 61.

In the post, which was signed by him, the former governor and Chief Whip of the Senate said Ifeoma was a woman of virtue who was committed to the service of God and humanity.

In other news, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25th general election, Atiku Abubakar has mourned a former Anambra State Governor, Chinwoke Mbadinuju.

Mbadinuju died at the age of 78, according to a family statement issued on Tuesday night.
