AMVCA: Kunle Afolayan Express Excitement As Anikulapo Clinches Five Awards

Nollywood actor, Kunle Afolayan, on Monday, expressed his excitement after he won five Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) on Saturday evening.

Afolayan took to his official Instagram handle to share pictures from the event and the five awards.

The actor thanked God, his families, colleagues, and friends for their support.

He wrote, “All thanks to Olodumare 5 Awards. Congratulations to the winning team. Thanks to #naijaonnetflix for the partnership to make the film, and thanks to #africamagic for the recognition.

“Thanks to the #kunlesfolayanfans and soldiers out there. Thanks to Maami and all my well-wishers for the prayers and thanks to families and friends for the support.”

Reports say Afolayan’s movie Anikulapo won 5 categories out of the 16 it was nominated for. It won in the categories; Best Indigenous Language’ (Yoruba), Best Overall Movie, Best Sound Editor (movie/TV series), Best Writer (Movie/TV series), and Best Sound Track (movie/TV series).
