Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Samuel Animashaun Perry, widely known as Broda Shaggi has won the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award, AMVCA, for the ‘Best Actor in a comedy’.

Shaggi received best actor in a comedic Drama, Movie, or TV Series for his performance in the film “Inside Life.”
Broda Shaggi revealed his nomination for the honour in an April tweet.

“Hello, how are you?” he wrote. I’ve been nominated for another AMVCA Award for Best Actor in a Comedy. I received two nominations for my parts in SURVIVORS and INSIDE LIFE.”
Kanyidaily earlier reported that the comedian won in the same category in the 2022 African Film Awards, while Osas Ighodaro won in ‘Best Actress in a Drama, Movie, or TV Series.’ He also won the same category the previous year.
