The plaintiffs, Praise Ilemona Isaiah, Pastor Paul Isaac Audu, and Anongu Moses, had alleged age falsification and citizenship discrepancies in the documents submitted by Bola Tinubu to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
However, in a ruling on Friday, Justice James Omotosho said the suit filed by the three individuals was frivolous and an abuse of the court process.
He stated that the plaintiffs lacked the legal standing (locus standi) to file the suit, adding that the court could not exercise jurisdiction over the matter since it’s related to a presidential election.
This comes a few hours on Friday after the Supreme Court dismissed another suit seeking to disqualify Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima over double nomination.
