Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp has named Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola the greatest manager in history, surpassing Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United.

Guardiola led Manchester City to their fifth Premier League title in six years.
In 14 seasons, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager has won 11 league titles.
He joins Ferguson as one of just two managers to win the Premier League three years in a row.
Guardiola, according to Redknapp, is ahead of 13-time champion Ferguson because of how his favoured playing style has revolutionised modern football.
“He has altered public perception of the game.” You have midfielders and defenders going into different areas, playing out, splitting defences, and he is the greatest ever, in my opinion.

“But, for me, he has changed football forever,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
