Seun Kuti, a Nigerian singer and the youngest son of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has alleged that when he was arrested by the police, prominent blogger Tunde Ednut wanted him to be incarcerated.
The singer was arraigned before the Lagos State magistrate’s court and imprisoned at the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, in Panti, Yaba, for physically attacking a police officer, according to report. He was later released after being detained for several days.
During an Instagram live session on Tuesday, Seun said that the celebrity blogger wanted him to go to jail because he owed him money for nine posts and was actively pushing for him to go to jail since he couldn’t repay the money.

“I hear everyone saying Tunde didn’t like me,” he said. Tunde is the sole blogger I talk to in Nigeria, and he also knows my phone number. And do you know why he wants me imprisoned?Because Tunde has a debt to me.
“He was supposed to do ten posts for me since two years ago, but he only did one, and he knew my new project was coming out soon.” He must complete that task. In fact, it has grown to twenty posts. So he wants to do to me what Sacoche did to Gaddafi because of those nine posts.”
