The court document revealed that Christine’s attorneys filed the financial request, stating that the amount is necessary to maintain the children’s accustomed lifestyle.
Christine, 49, alleges the figure “is less than the amount needed to maintain the children in their accustomed lifestyle” and is requesting that Costner, 68, also pay 100% of private-school tuition, extracurricular activities/sports and health-care expenses for their three kids: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.
According to her, Kevin Costner’s enormous wealth is more than enough to cover what she wants as his total income last year was $19.5 million.
She said the family regularly embarks on lavish trips to destinations like Hawaii, Aspen, and the Caribbean, often hiring caterers and chefs for entertainment. The upkeep of their multiple properties costs approximately $2 million annually.
The court documents do not mention any request for spousal support. However, it is worth noting that Kevin has already stated his willingness to contribute an additional $38,000 per month.
Insiders close to the situation have claimed that Kevin is already covering 100% of the children’s expenses. Despite the expenses outlined in the documents, he believes Christine’s demands are excessive and unrelated to child support.
Kevin Costner recently filed his own court documents, alleging that Christine has refused to vacate one of his properties, despite the terms stipulated in their prenuptial agreement.
The actor, who described his wife’s demands as highway robbery, said that she has more than enough funds, with $1.45 million in her bank account, to afford alternate accommodations.
