KanyiDaily recalls that Chef Dammy hit the spotlight after embarking on a 120-hour cook-a-thon which kicked off on Friday, June 9, and ended on Wednesday, June 14.
The Ekiti-based chef was recently seen heading out for an event with security escorts, sparking widespread reactions on social media platforms.
Chef Dammy, who revealed earlier that she has been receiving threats since she commenced and concluded her cook-a-thon, asked people to help secure her welfare.
In a new video shared online, the 22-year-old undergraduate expressed her sincere appreciation to those who may consider donating towards her security.
She said all the money that came in from her well-wishers while she was cooking for 120 hours is not enough for her to employ the services of a soldier that will serve as her security detail.
‘’The monies that came in isn’t enough to employ security. It is not enough to employ a soldier that will be looking after me. Honestly please, consider all this if you want to gift me something. I will appreciate it’‘ Dammy said
KanyiDaily recalls that Chef Dammy had recently announced her intension to break the world record by cooking for 150 hours, surpassing Hilda Baci’s record for the longest cooking time of 93 hours and 11 minutes.
