KanyiDaily recalls that during his recent comedy show in Abuja, Akpororo expressed his belief that President Bola Tinubu will serve for a total of eight years.
The comedian added that Peter Obi, who has been attempting to challenge the election results in court, will continue his legal battle for the same duration.
His comment that Peter Obi would spend eight years in court, triggered outrage on social media with many Nigerians criticizing him harshly while calling for people to unfollow him massively.
Reacting to his Instagram page, Akpororo shared the full video from the event, aiming to provide context and clarity. He explained that his intention was to highlight the issues within the Nigerian system and shed light on the pervasive corruption.
The comedian wrote: “Make una no vex, no be wetin I mean be that, I dey try talk about Nigeria system and corruption. Na the full video be this.”
KanyiDaily recalls that despite the outcome of the 2023 presidential election, former President Olusegun Obasanjo has maintained his belief that Peter Obi remains the best candidate for a better Nigeria.
