Marriage is scam – Actress Moet Abebe says after failed engagement

Laura Monyeazo Abebe, nicknamed Moet Abebe, a popular Nigerian video jockey and actress, has said that marriage is a “scam.”

Women, according to her, only marry because of cultural pressure.

She mentioned this in a recent interview with popular media personality Chude Jideonwo.

Moet said that she was engaged but called it off because her fiance abused her.

Despite having never married, the actress emphasized that her belief that marriage is a swindle was based on her personal experience.

“Marriage is a sham,” she declared. Women only do it because of societal pressure.

“If someone is so particular about something, the person may be speaking from a position of knowledge or experience.” They say that experience is the best teacher.

“Aside from that, I’ve noticed that many people marry for the wrong reasons.” Many people are doing it as a result of societal pressure.”
