Nigerian actor and reality TV star, Afeez Oladimeji Agoro, who gained widespread recognition as Nigeria’s tallest man, has tragically passed away.

The Nations confirmed Afeez Agoro’s death, and preparations for his burial have already commenced at his residence on Community Road in Akoka.

According to reports, Agoro was rushed to the hospital yesterday after experiencing certain complications.

Prior to that, his most recent Facebook post on May 28 expressed gratitude for a successful hip replacement surgery and mentioned his upcoming therapy sessions.

He posted: “Thank God Almighty for a successful operation now it’s time for therapy.”

Throughout his hip recovery process, he received care from his personal doctor, Dr. Dike.

Standing at an imposing height of 7 feet 4 inches, Agoro’s towering stature never failed to attract attention wherever he went.

His presence alone commanded stares and sparked curiosity among those around him. The residents of Akoka/Bariga, where Agoro resided, have begun sharing heartfelt tributes as the news of his passing spreads.

Segun Adesanya, the chairman of Akoka Community Development Association (CDA), expressed his sorrow and confirmed the loss of a promising young man.

He offered his condolences, saying, “Afeez Agoro lives on community road and it’s sad we lost a promising young man. May his soul rest in peace.”

KanyiDaily had also reported that veteran Nollywood actor, Prince Ademola Adeyemo dead.
