Davido Replies Fan Who Question When He Would Sell Out Stadiums Like Wizkid, Burna Boy

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Davido has responded to a fan who inquired when he would achieve stadium-selling success like his fellow artists, Wizkid and Burna Boy.

KanyiDaily recalls that Burna Boy recently made history by being the first African artist to sell out the 41,000-capacity Citi Field Stadium in New York City, USA. He also accomplished the impressive feat of single-handedly selling out the 80,000-capacity London Stadium in the United Kingdom.

Following suit over the weekend, Wizkid achieved a groundbreaking milestone in Africa by becoming the first African artist to sell out the 70,000 concert capacity at Tottenham Stadium in London, UK.

In what appears to be a shade, a fan had asked Davido when he would follow in his colleague’s footsteps. He wrote, “Over to you David, stadium when?”.

In response to a fan’s question, Davido confidently prayed for the fan’s longevity and health, assuring that it wouldn’t be too long before he accomplished the feat as well.

“I pray to God ur alive and healthy by then to witness…it won’t be long,” Davido assured in his reply.

KanyiDaily had reported how singer Rema recently received a pleasant surprise from Davido, during his ongoing Rave and Roses North American Tour II in Houston, Texas.
