Many feared dead as 18-seater bus rams into stationary trailer in Laagos

Tragedy hit Lagos State early this morning as an 18-seater bus filled with passengers rammed into a stationary trailer.

The 18-seater passenger bus was headed to Badagry and the accident occurred at Agemowo, very close to Mowo, on the Lagos-Badagry expressway.

The cause of the accident has not been released but eyewitnesses said the accident may have been caused by over-speeding which resulted in the brake failure which caused the bus to crash into the parked trailer.

All the 18 passengers in the bus reportedly lost their lives.
