Those unveiled by the speaker on Tuesday included Julius Ihonvbere (APC – Edo, House Majority Leader), Halims Abdullahi (APC – Kogi, Deputy Majority Leader), Bello Kumo (APC – Gombe, Chief Whip), Adewunmi Onanuga (APC – Ogun, Deputy Chief Whip).
Speaker Abass also read a letter from the Minority Caucus that detailed the names of the principal officers.
The letter named Kingsley Chinda (PDP, Minority Leader), Aliya Madaki (NNPP, Deputy Minority Leader), Ali Isah (PDP, Minority Whip), and George Ebizimawo (Labour Party, Deputy Minority Whip).
With the unveiling of the new principal officers, the 10th House will now commence legislative duties fully.
Recall that Tajudeen Abass emerged as the Speaker of the 10th assembly on June 13 after defeating the immediate past deputy speaker, Ahmed Wase, and another reps member.
