Yul Edochie Reportedly Rejects Petition As WIfe, May Edochie Begins Divorce Proceedings

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has reportedly rejected the divorce papers filled by his first wife, May Edochie, to end their 18-year-old marriage.

According to LIB, May Edochie initiated divorce proceedings against her estranged husband today, July 10, 2023, following his second marriage to actress Judy Austin.

The mother of three, who has never hidden her disapproval of Yul’s marriage with Judy, visited the court with her legal counsel on Monday to file a petition seeking the dissolution of marriage.

However, it was gathered Yul Edochie refused to accept the originating summons, which had caused a delay in the filing of the divorce proceedings.

May stormed the court after mouring her 16-year-old son, Kambilichukwu Edochie who died three months ago when he collapsed while playing football in school.

KanyiDaily recalls that Yul Edochie’s marriage to May had hit the rock In April 2022, after he announced that he had welcomed a son with Judy Austin and had married her as his second wife.
