Since he opened up about his intentions to bankroll his son and their friends to have sexual intercourse with pre-arranged girls, Seyi has been in the eye of the storm.
The comment drew criticism from Nigerians and even the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA).
In reaction to the controversy, Seyi’s management had said the reality TV star’s comment “does not define his overall personality”.
But during his recent diary session, Seyi expressed regret over the comment after Biggie, the instructive voice on BBNaija, informed him about the backlash it had triggered.
“Big Brother, I honestly did not remember that. Yes. It is very very misogynistic. I am so sorry for saying those kinds of comments. It is a very wrong thing to say. And I am just regretting it now. I cannot even remember I said those things. I am sure I said things even worse. I cannot remember the conversation in totality,” he said.
Also, Seyi Awolowo on Wednesday tendered an apology to housemates in the lounge.
“I think in between Sunday morning; I said some things to some couple of housemates at the time. I literally just remembered it yesterday, and it is something I am really not proud of. I am ashamed of it. I know probably when you guys get outside and see that clip, you guys, too, will be disgusted,” he said.
“So I just want to apologise to every woman in the house. When you go outside, you will understand. I said some very nasty things and brashly things to my person. Not to my person but things I am not supposed to have said. And I really and sincerely apologise. These are words I am not supposed to use.”
Furthermore, the reality TV star also apologised to his wife, mother, and management.
Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that
