“Meeting Davido Worth More Than Money” – Benue Cyclist Insists On Ridding To Lagos

A now-famous cyclist, Emmanuel Myam, better known as Emmiwuks, has declined to send his account number to Afrobeats superstar, Davido, insisting that he’ll wait for the singer’s return.

KanyiDaily recalls that Emmiwuks gained widespread attention when he went viral on social media for embarking on a bicycle ride from Benue to Lagos with the sole purpose of meeting Davido.

In the photos shared on his Twitter page, Emmiwuks was seen holding a banner featuring the emblem of the DMW boss, and his bicycle was adorned with a message that boldly stated, ‘Benue to Lagos on a bicycle for Davido.’

When the cyclist revealed that he had already spent eight days on the road in his quest to meet Davido in Lagos, the singer advised him to turn around and go home because he was not available in the country at the moment.

Despite the heartfelt plea from Davido, Emmiwuks remained resolute and unyielding in his commitment to his adventure, insisting that he’s not going back to Benue until he wants to present his gift to the singer in Lagos.

In his response, Davido asked Emmiwuks to provide his bank account details and head back home, stressing that he would meet him upon his return to Nigeria.

Reacting in a new tweet, the cyclist expressed gratitude for Davido’s offer to send a monetary blessing, but he prefer to wait for Davido’s return to personally hand over the gift he brought from Benue.

Emmanuel Myam explained that meeting Davido and delivering his gift all the way from Benue will be the happiest moment in his life.

He wrote, “SIR I appreciate you for the generous offer of telling me to send my ACCTNUM for you to bless your boy but meeting my 001 and delivering this my gift 🎁 all the way from Benue state will be my happiest moment in this life. No disrespect I will wait foryou Boss. LONGLIVE 001 30BG”

KanyiDaily recalls that Davido’s aide, Isreal DMW had offered N100,000 to a now-famous cyclist, Emmiwuks, stressing that he should head to Benin instead of Lagos.
