KanyiDaily recalls that Mohbad had openly criticized his former mentor, Naira Marley, on social media last year, alleging that he had directed his associates to physically assault him.
Following the incident, Mohbad decided to sever ties with Marlian Music, formally ending his contract with the label.
During an interview with journalist Chude Jideonwo, Bella Shmurda said the ordeal had a significant repercussions on Mohbad’s emotional well-being, leading him to a point where he contemplated suicide.
Bella Shmurda revealed that Mohbad had seriously considered jumping from a high window, but his friends intervened just in time, preventing the potentially tragic incident.
He said, I don’t have to say this, but I’ll say this.
