During an interview with Pulse Nigeria, Monalisa Stephen addressed Tacha Akide’s comments about her earlier statement that ‘BBNaija made Tacha’.
Monalisa expressed her view that Tacha had grown arrogant and unappreciative towards the show that brought her into the limelight.
She reminded Tacha that it was due to the reality show that she gained recognition and suggested that it would be appropriate for Tacha to acknowledge that fact consistently.
In response, Tacha questioned how many times she needed to express gratitude to the show’s organizers and sarcastically asked if she had to clean their office desks daily to prove her appreciation.
Tacha further made reference to her accomplishments and hinted at the achievements of her fellow housemate, Ella.
In an additional tweet, Tacha resorted to body shaming Monalisa, which incited Monalisa to respond via her Instagram story.
Monalisa reiterated that Tacha would not be recognized without the BBNaija show and emphasized her own self-made journey, a path that she suggested Tacha couldn’t understand.
Monalisa also alluded to Tacha’s relationships, implying that the reality star relied on the support of men from Port Harcourt and Lagos.
She wrote, “You get mind body shame me o. You that without BBN you are nothing. I am self-made!! But that’s something you can’t ever relate to all thanks to Port Harcourt n Lagos boys. Astalavi Give demmmm”.
KanyiDaily recall that BBNaija housemate, Tacha Akide revealed the reason behind her decision to decline participation in the ongoing season 8 All Stars show.
