Actress Tonto Dikeh Tackles Pastor Tunde Bakare Over His Comment About Mohbad

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has criticized Pastor Tunde Bakare over his recent comments regarding the late singer Mohbad.

KanyiDaily recalls that Pastor Bakare recently reacted to Mohbad’s death, saying the late singer faced the consequences of his actions during his lifetime.

The cleric also said that Mohbad’s stage name means ‘I am bad’, stressing that the late singer associated with evil people while he was alive which contributed to his untimely death.

Reacting on her Instagram page, Tonto Dikeh pointed out what she perceived as a double standard in Pastor Bakare’s approach. She noted that the clergyman does not address or preach about the unholy activities of his colleagues when they are involved in such scandals.

The actress expressed her frustration, emphasizing that Pastor Bakare should maintain the same level of scrutiny for his colleagues who are involved in questionable activities. She urged him to keep the same energy when dealing with those in his circle.

She also advised him to refrain from making loose comments about individuals like Mohbad and focus on his gospel ministry. Tonto Dikeh expressed her respect for wisdom but cautioned against making negative remarks.

Tonto Dikeh further highlighted the importance of maintaining a respectful and considerate approach, even in addressing controversial topics.

He wrote, “Dear Pastor Tunde, When your colleagues are caught with their pants down in unholy sexual activities, we never hear your voice, you never speak nor preach about them.

‘It comes to the death of a boy who is old enough to be your last born, and you say ‘HE REAPED THE REWARD OF HIS ACTIONS.’ What Actions?

“Please, please, please KEEP THE SAME ENERGY with your corrupted colleagues as you just did today. It’s the anointing of God upon your head that’s making me not go off on this LOOSE COMMENT OF YOURS.

“I have learned over the years that if you have nothing nice to say, keep mute (DON’T TALK AT ALL). Preach your gospel and leave MohBad’s name out of your ministration. I don’t respect old age; I respect the wisdom you exhibit at old age”.

KanyiDaily recalls that Popular Nigerian prophet Oba Ewulomi had revealed plans to resurrect Mohbad from the dead.
