Following Mohbad’s death, some Nigerians said that for a thorough investigation to be carried out on the untimely death of the singer, his grieving wife should submit their son for DNA test in order to ascertain if he was indeed the boy’s father.
Reacting on her Instagram story, Mary Njoku characterized them as evil and insensitive, expressing her disbelief that anyone would ask a grieving widow to subject her son to a DNA paternity test.
She wrote, “Asking a mourning Widow to submit her son for a DNA test is pure Evil. Haba!
“She just lost a husband! Lost a father to her child! Lost her Helper and Protector of over 10yrs! Let her mourn in peace!
“If you can’t support her, don’t add to her misery! Small money don enter now and we are asking for DNA test. Just because she isn’t rich. If her husband didn’t doubt the paternity of his child, who are we to think otherwise?
“Abeg make una no let the dead para for una o! Don’t frustrated his family!!!! Let’s focus on getting #justiceformohbad”
The actress added, “Lets leave his poor Widow to raise the only blood legacy he left behind. His SON. Whom he loved very much. He would want that.
“No be the Pikin kill em Papa. Focus on the adults. We want #justiceformohbad #stayfocused ✌🏿️✌🏿️✌🏿️Good morning.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Nigerians have raised allegations against certain members of Mohbad’s family, suggesting that they are conspiring to claim his properties from his grieving 24-year-old widow.

I don't think it's EVIL that everyone is requesting a DNA test to prove the child's maturity. People are genuinely giving their hard earned money to help support his child, (allegedly). By law, once there is a deceased parent a maturity test can be requested. It's to protect everyone involved. If the wife has nothing to hide what is problem.
