During the live eviction programme on Sunday, she mentioned this while answering questions from the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

“Mercy Eke, you seem surprised that you weren’t nominated this week,” Ebuka inquired. “What made you think the other housemates didn’t like you?”
Mercy Eke responded: “It’s not about liking. I think they already know that I am a big threat so it would be wise to put me out there. I take it like we are now family so we have bonded so well and they are now seeing beyond the game but they still think I am a threat.”
Mercy is the only previous winner to make it to the All-Star final. She qualified for the final after the housemates failed to put her up for possible eviction.
