Mercy Eke, who was the former Head of House (HoH), is now facing the possibility of disqualification from the BBNaija reality TV show.
Her predicament unfolded when Big Brother decided to take disciplinary action against housemates Pere and Neo for engaging in silent conversations, serving as a clear warning to all contestants regarding strict microphone usage rules imposed by the show’s organizers.
This development stems from Big Brother’s adherence to Article 16, Sub-article 3 of the house rule book, which explicitly outlines guidelines regarding microphone usage that apply to all participants.
The rule underscores that persistent or deliberate breaches can lead to severe consequences, including strikes or expulsion from the house.
With one strike already against her, Mercy Eke now treads on thin ice, as a second strike could mark the end of her journey in the BBNaija All Stars house.
It’s noteworthy that Mercy Eke is not the first contestant to face strikes in this season; Ilebaye has previously accumulated two strikes, while Ceec and Ike each received one strike before their eventual eviction.
Former housemate Soma also received a strike for harassing Angel and making an offensive gesture toward the camera.
KanyiDaily recalls that Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo recently drummed support for Mercy Eke, the former BBNaija winner who has made a return to the All-Stars season of the show.
