This follows a video in which Mohbad’s father defended Naira Marley’s actions amidst the reported bullying and assaults that his son endured from his former boss.
In a video from his recent interview, Mohbad’s father argued that Naira Marley’s intentions were not malicious but rather aimed at correcting his son’s behavior.
The man claimed that Naira Marley sought to teach Mohbad humility and obedience by challenging him, stressing that he believed that the Marlian boss had the best interests of his son at heart and wanted to assert his authority.
He said, “Naira Marley didn’t kill my son Mohbad. All Naira Marley and Sam Larry were doing was just to ruffle Mohbad up a little so that he would know that Naira Marley was his Oga and he will ‘dobale’ for him and be humble and listen. I don’t think Naira Marley would ever go as far as killing my son”.
The video has triggered many reactions with netizens questioning if the man is Mohbad’s biological father as they expressed disgust at his revelation.
Amid the debates and discussions about parenting styles and the extent to which discipline should be imposed, even in professional relationships, actress Eve Esin wrote, “What a father”
KanyiDaily recalls that actress Esther Nwachukwu had also stepped forward to support Naira Marley amid the online criticism over the death of Mohbad.
