Mabel Makun Slams Nigerians For Traumatizing Mohbad’s Family With Disturbing Videos

Mabel Makun, the interior decorator and wife of the acclaimed comedian Ayo Makun, has criticized Nigerians for causing distress to the family members of late singer, Mohbad.

KanyiDaily recalls that Mohbad died at the age of 27 under controversial circumstances on September 12, and was buried the following day in Lagos.

But the police exhumed his body for an autopsy on Thursday to determine the cause of his untimely death which has been causing controversy since his demise.

During the exhumation of Mohbad’s body, several videos of the deceased have circulated widely on the internet, resulting in emotional distress for many viewers.

Taking to her Instagram page, Mabel Makun rebuked those sharing the disturbing videos, stressing that such actions could deeply traumatize the deceased’s family members and close friends.

The designer questioned the motives behind these actions and revealed her own exhaustion with the state of affairs in Nigeria. She also posed several questions directed at the government:

“Some people will not rest until they traumatize Mohbad’s close friends and family members. Why are you guys sharing a video of him being exhumed?” she asked.

She added, “I just saw a clear video of him being exhumed. I mean a very clear video. Sincerely, some people are not ok. Why did they not mark and stop people from getting close during the exhumation? Like I feel so drained and exhausted. You all should stop, please.

“Tired of this country, nothing is ever done the proper way, and ours will always be different. Do you all expect his son to grow up, see all of these, and be okay??? Let’s try and be civil sometimes.

“To think that the government is involved and still caution is been thrown to the wind. How much does it cost to put the necessary security in place and keep people away as far as possible???”

Meanwhile, Singer Bella Shmurda said the primary objective is for the police to identify and bring to justice those who allegedly “oppressed” and mistreated Mohbad during his lifetime.
