Mohbad: Police Arrest Sam Larry At Airport As He Returns To Nigeria [Video]

Nigerian socialite, Sam Larry is currently in police custody as part of the ongoing investigation into the death of late singer, Mohbad.

Sam Larry’s arrest follows series of accusations and public outrage, fueled by videos circulating online depicting physical altercations between him and the late Mohbad.

It was gathered that Sam Larry, a close aide of Mohbad’s former boss, Naira Marley, was at the airport upon his return to Nigeria.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Command, confirmed his arrest in a statement on Twitter.

“Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation,” Hundeyin’s statement read..

A video shared on social media shows Sam Larry being escorted by the police to ensure his safety, amid demands for answers and justice from enraged fans and concerned citizens.

This comes a few hours after actress Iyabo Ojo revealed that the police would declare Naira Marley and Sam Larry wanted if they fail to come back to Nigeria to address the allegations surrounding the untimely death to Mohbad.
