Kenneth Petty, the husband of famed American musician Nicki Minaj, has received a 120-day house arrest term.
Petty was sentenced for violating the terms of his probation by posting videos on social media that purported to threaten Cardi B’s husband, Offset.
Petty was ordered to undergo home monitoring in a court order filed in the Central District of California on Wednesday after he “was recorded making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”
Rapper Offset was specifically referenced in the order, and the clips are related to a series of remarks Petty directed at the rapper that surfaced on the internet on September 16th.

Petty and some of his entourage are seen in the viral video outside a New York City hotel where Offset was reportedly residing.
In his threatening comments, Petty says, “Plan that vacation, you’re gonna be planning your funeral pussy.”
Recall that Petty was convicted of first degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1995, and spent four years in prison in New York.
In July 2022, he was also sentenced to three years probation after pleading guilty to failing to register as a sex offender in the state of California in 2020.
